Along the Snæfellsnes Peninsula coastline, you have the best chance in Iceland to encounter two of the ocean’s top predators: orcas and sperm whales, each during their respective seasons. Besides these species, we may also encounter humpback whales, minke whales and white-beaked dolphins, with sightings varying throughout the season.
