Returning the value to Icelandic tourism

In Iceland, booking companies such as Booking, AirBnb, Expedia and Viator take in tens of billions in fees every year. The majority of these companies are foreign, thus sucking tens of billions directly out of the Icelandic economy. Our goal is to return the value back to the tourism industry. Rising wage costs and rising interest rates are reducing the profitability of the industry.

By directly interacting with travelers and hosts, we cut out and eliminate the need for costly intermediaries and unnecessary services. This not only reduces operational costs but also increases the efficiency of the booking experience.

Travelers can communicate their needs directly to hosts, while hosts can strengthen their brand while also offering personalized service that results in a value-added experience for the traveler.
