WEST ICELAND

Víðgelmir Cave

Víðgelmir is the largest cave in Iceland and one of the largest caves in the world, 1585 metres long and the largest part of the cave passage in 15,8 metres high and 16,5 metres wide.

Hraunfossar and Barnafoss

These beautiful waterfalls are two of the best-known natural features in Iceland. They are gentle cascades of bright water emerging from under the moss-covered lava.

Glymur

Glymur is Iceland’s tallest waterfall at 198 metres tall. It is located in Botnsdalur Valley in West Iceland, but the waterfall is in Botnsá river that runs out of Lake Hvalvatn.
